Starting a Global Chain of Fire

Today learners from two countries will participate in a Paideia seminar using the capacity of communications technology to dialogue around the ideas of identity and home, community, the individual and the nature of true dialogue.

Learners from John Muir school in California will link with the Learning Academy Worldwide group from Stockholm in Sweden. The nine hours difference in time will put the Swedes at just before supper time while the Californians would have been 1 hour into their school day.

Learners will use this blog to produce a collection of comments, images, audio and maybe video clips to form a kind of digital portfolio of their collective summary of the text they read  – South African-born  author Beverley Naidoo’s, Chain of Fire.
